Name: Lionheart
Age: 20 moons
Gender: male
Clan: StoneClan
Rank: warrior
Appearance: Lionheart is truly a sight to behold. Built large, strong and muscular this warrior has a particular intimidating air about him but also a noble look. His pelt is very thick meaning that winters for him are easier then for some short-furred cats. The coloring of Lionheart's peltage is a stunning shade of golden-brown/ginger with slightly darker tabby stripes. In all reality Lionheart looks the part of a lion when he walks. He is large and muscular so when he walks his pelt ripples smoothly over his well-built structure. Very few cats and disagree with Lionheart being a handsome cat though younger cats tend to be a bit intimidated. On Lionheart's muzzle there is a splash of white but other then that his entire coat is vibrant golden ginger accented with honey-colored eyes. His thick pelt combined with strong muscle means the rough rocky home of the StoneClan is the perfect place for this lion-like cat.
Personality: This is a cat built on nobility and honor. He fights for his clan and would defend his leader without a second thought to it. Lionheart is a true friend to one and all, from kits to elders. He enjoys listening to the elders tales and every now and then a good sparring match is never amiss for this powerful warrior. Though to kits and young apprentices Lionheart looks big and intimidating, really he's a rather big softie with a deep voice that could lull you to sleep of scare the life out of you when he was mad. When he does get mad, Lionheart is every part the fierce lion he's named for. When he goes through camp he has a certain look of authority that he really doesn't work for. All in all he's simply a humble cat trying to serve his clan as best he can. If there is something he disapproves of, Lionheart is not afraid to speak his mind. Usually however, Lionheart is the rational golden shadow lurking in the back of camp or at the head of a patrol. He's not the type to complain and tries to keep his complaints to himself about dawn patrol in the middle of bare-leaf or hunting through noonhigh during greenleaf's steaming heat.
History: Lionheart is the son of Tunnelclaw and Redstone, both loyal StoneClan cats. Lionheart got his size from his father, Tunnelclaw and was the only one in his litter that did. The others, his three sisters Mistwhisker, Fawnfoot and Berryleaf, were all small and petite like Redstone. Fawnfoot and Berryleaf both inherited Redstone's stunning ginger coat while Mistwhisker got Tunnelclaw's dark blue-grey fur. Lionheart stood out a bit, somewhere in between his mother's red ginger pelt and his gandmother Sandpelt's light ginger. As a kit, Lionkit was curious and easily awed by the powerful warriors when he got to watch them play-fight in camp at dusk when the day was winding down. It wasn't long before he was trying to fight like them and accidentally injured Fawnkit while rough-housing with Mistkit. From then on his mother forbid him from fighting with his siblings. So, Lionheart went to the apprentices and was soon fast friends with Webpaw, a young silver tabby that was near to being a warrior.
When Lionkit became Lionpaw his mentor was surprisingly Webtail, the apprentice he had befriended as a four-moon-old kit. From there Lionpaw's apprenticeship went on without a hitch until he was about twelve moons old. While hunting with Webtail during leaf-bare they came across a badger sett and decided to investigate before taking the news back to camp. This proved to be a grave mistake for them both. It turned out the badger still lived in the den and still had kits which meant it was protective. In the end, Webtail was dead and Lionpaw was forced to flee back to camp while his mentor held off the badger. When he returned, Webtail was dead and the badger was soon chased off by a bigger patrol of cats. A she-cat named Blackclaw continued Lionpaw's apprenticeship for one more moon before it was decided he was ready to be a warrior.
Joining him in his warrior ceremony was Fawnfoot and Mistwhisker. Berrypaw was shortly the apprentice of the medicine cat before she died of whitecough shortly after being named Berryleaf.
RP Sample: All around the StoneClan camp snow had fallen slightly through the night to create a pure white blanket of frozen rain. Few cats were looking forward to hunting or patrolling in the thick blanket of ice. All but one. Thick pelt buffeted by the chilling wind, Lionheart strode into the camp with a hare held firmly in his large jaws. It was scrawny but so was everything and everyone else. With a sigh the golden warrior dropped the prey on the meager pile of fresh kill before turning to head out for more. Though he rather disliked going out with another snowstorm brewing above his head, Lionheart knew the clan needed the prey. He was one of the cats with thick fur that could withstand the cold longer. Of course the medicine cat would snap at him if he didn't keep his hunting within reason but Lionheart was going to do what he could, even if it was just one more piece of fresh kill. One more meant one more kit didn't go to sleep hungry when night came. One more cat didn't starve.
Shaking his mighty head the tabby coiled his muscles and sprang out of camp at a quick run ignoring the cold that stabbed mercilessly at his paws and flanks. StarClan made him a strong cat. Now he'd give his strength back to his clan, even if it just meant filling their bellies. Lionheart chuckled, thinking how his old friend Webtail would have teased him about being so noble-hearted. Webtail had always been a humorous cat and Lionheart missed him dearly. Hunting patrols had become more lonely since the death of his mentor and friend. With a sad sigh and a new weight sitting in his belly, Lionheart ran faster in search of prey to take his mind off of his misery. It was only a winter day that could make him so sad. After all, Webtail had died right after a snowfall. There hadn't been any visible blood because of it.
