Appearance: Mothstar is a medium sized she-cat with a decent amount of muscle. She’s nearly a foot at the shoulder, with most of her muscle residing in her legs. Her legs are a tad longer than most cats, and the paws on the end of those legs are somewhat dainty in construction. She, like her siblings, has the genetically long tail that she can curl over her back and touch her shoulders with. Her skull is square-ish, but small. It sits closely to her body. She has a short, but pretty, muzzle centered near the bottom of her face. Her eyes are very almond shaped, and they sit neatly spaced above her muzzle and flurry of long white whiskers. Her ears are rounded triangles that sit slightly to each side of her skull. Her right front paw is twisted to the outside just slightly, barley perceivable and not enough to cause a limp. She has a few scars that can be seen through her long fur, one being a gash on her shoulder from a scuffle with Longfrost. Her chest, front legs, jaw and around her eyes are stark white. The rest of her body is deep, ebony black. Her left ear is a fiery orange-brown, along with a large patch on her back, like a small pair of fairy wings folded against her back. Her eye color varies from a bright, emerald green to a sickly yellow-green depending on her mood.
Personality: Mothstar tends to be rather up-tight. She's all about business and a rather annoying by-the-book, matter-of-fact way of doing things. She's has been aspiring to be leader since she was a kit. She has gained a certain amount of mentoring prowess in her time as Wrathfang's mentor. In that time she learned patience, and that hate is best directed at the one who brought the hatred, not his kin. She now rules over her apprentices with an iron paw, guiding them along their path to warriorhood quickly, efficiently, and by the book. She is the leader most likely to spring into battle, claws unsheathed, fangs bore, war-cry echoing... When she's also the cat trying to find a peaceful way to end things. She has no problems fighting, but the bloodshed of her Clan mates is not something she jokes about. She's the cat the kits dread to get as a mentor, unless they are as driven and single-minded as she. If not, she learned enough patience from Wrathfang that she can make it through the six moon training with little to no conflict.
History:Kithood
Mothkit was born as the last of four kits, her older siblings being born in this order, Whitekit, Hailkit and Longkit. Her father, Mothshadow, died the day she was born so her mother, Tawnybird, named the tiny tortie with the orange 'wings' like her father had, Mothkit. Mothkit's first memory was of a ThunderClan raid on the camp in which the RiverClan deputy, Yellowstone, was killed. She was later faced with her best friend, Foxkit's, insane mother, Quietwind, who refused to let Hailpaw and Brindlerain-the medicine cats-visit Foxkit's sister Hollowkit, who had contracted Black Cough. Mothkit met Cunningpaw, the fox-like son of Rabbitstar, that day. Cunningpaw encouraged Mothkit to try and save Hollowkit. Mothkit, empowered, took Hollowkit the herbs she would need to get better. Hollowkit died the next day.Apprenticeship
Mothpaw became a normal apprentice until the end of her apprenticeship. She was engaged in a battle over territory. She was fighting an apprentice named Chilledpaw. Chilledpaw pushed both herself and Mothpaw into the river, which carried the two out of Clan territory and into the clutches of rogues. The rogue leader, Dog, held the two captive until a small patrol of Clan cats (Shadowedmoon, Crimsonblood, Tawnybird, Rabbitstar, Whitefoot, Foxfur and Cunningclaw) came to save the two. Mothpaw and Chilledpaw, with the help of the rogue Wika, escaped during the fight. The two apprentices got into Clan territory when Dog attacked them, killing and mutilating Chilledpaw's body. Mothpaw, emaciated and terrified, ran to Fourtrees where she had a sudden attack and nearly died. Her sister saved her from death and Mothpaw returned to camp to receive her warrior name, Mothwhisper.Warriorhood and Queenhood
Mothwhisper was given her first apprentice, Firepaw, right after she got home. Mothwhisper went through her first warrior mission the day after she got her name. She was to run out the loner that had been staying on SwiftClan territory. Mothwhisper found her, a ragged old loner with a long flowing grey pelt and bright green eyes. The loner called herself Brokenmask. Mothwhisper brought the dying she-cat back to RiverClan where they became close friends and Mothwhisper learned why StarClan had let her live the day she'd almost died. The deputy of SWiftClan, Darkeye, retired and left Rabbitstar with a decision. He would have picked his son, Cunningclaw, or Whitefoot to be deputy had Brokenmask not died that day. Mothwhisper had become very hard and uncaring since she had almost died, which ruled her out for the deputy position. Mothwhisper did a complete 180 when Brokenmask died, turning into a mess of heart ache. Rabbitstar knew that Mothwhisper would be a better deputy and one day leader than Cunningclaw or Whitefoot ever could be. Mothwhisper found out later that she would be having Cunningclaw's kits, so she went to Rabbitstar and begged to stay deputy after the kits were born. Rabbitstar said yes and Chilledkit, Hollowkit, Dancingkit and Robinkit were born. Mothwhisper was devastated when SwiftClan grew weak with Black Cough. Every elder had died, all the apprentices were sick and the few warriors that still stood could barely work. Rabbitstar himself had lost two lives to the devastating sickness. She was completly heartbroken when Hollowkit died. Then Chilledkit. And finally, Dancingkit died. Mothwhisper did not speak until the sickness was gone and Robinkit was safe. Every SwiftClan cat was on edge later that moon when cats began disappearing. Mothwhisper thought nothing of it and happily went back to her deputy duties when Robinkit was four moons old.Deputyship
She was helping Rabbitstar, who only had two lives left; solve a problem between the apprentices when Longfrost and Cunningclaw began to fight. Rabbitstar broke it up, but Longfrost was still seething mad. Later that night, Longfrost snuck into the leaders den and killed Rabbitstar quietly before attacking Hailwhisper and bringing his sister's life to an end. Longfrost went on to murder a queen and her kits. Mothwhisper was awoken by Silverfeather’s screams and the wails of dying kits. Mothwhisper ran into the nursery and attacked and nearly killed her brother, only to find Silverfeather, Rapidkit, Frogkit, Willowkit, Weaselkit and Justicekit all dead. He was frantic to find her own kit, Robinkit, who was being watched over by Silverfeather. Longfrost limped out of the nursery and into the clearing where he slit Robinkit’s throat. Mothwhisper and Cunningclaw were too late to save their son. Longfrost in turn attacked Envygaze, his mate, while Mothwhisper and Cunningclaw were distracted. Rabbitstar came out of his den and attacked Longfrost, telling him to get away from his daughter. Longfrost was ready and killed Rabbitstar for the final time. Longfrost grinned and followed the fleeing Envygaze out of the camp. Mothwhisper began to cry and said her most famous words, “Longfrost will pay for this.” She quickly took control of SwiftClan, naming [insert name] deputy and the duo set out to begin the burials. SwiftClan was almost back to normal when Longfrost returned and snarled out a challenge to Cunningclaw. Cunningclaw looked at his mate and ran out of the camp to the river bank to confront Longfrost. Mothwhisper arrived just in time to see Cunningclaw’s fox-red head go under the water. Mothwhisper attacked her brother and about four moons later SwiftClan calmed down enough for Mothwhisper and Foxfur to make the trip to the Crystal Pool where she received her nine lives from these cats: Rabbitstar, Cunningclaw, Hollowkit, Tawnybird, Cocopelt, Chilledpaw, Hailwhisper, Firestorm and Mothshadow. On the way back to camp Mothstar and Foxfur found a young kit who called himself Wrath. Wrath mewed his mothers name and was swept away to SwiftClan. Wrath was the son of Longfrost and Envygaze; the grandson of Rabbitstar. Mothstar led a normal leadership from then on.

My Heart Is Bloody And I Can't Take It Anymore.
εїз The light filtered down from between the trees. It wasn't a clear light, but more murky and dull. And it only scarcely lit the path of the tortoiseshell beauty. Or some would say. Others would spit at her passing and curse her to burn in DemonClan. But either way you leaned, Mothstar was no the feline to cross today. The simple thought of her elder, twin brother sent wild shivers up her spine and forced her hackles to shoot up. But the occurrence today had shocked her and shaken her to her core. In her lost mood she had put her deputy in charge and fled camp. Her simple resolve was coming back, bubbling beneath the surface. With a few deep breaths she'd gone from seething mad to irritated to sad. A careless slight by an ignorant apprentice had sent her into spiraling rage. She'd punished him harshly and she hoped that her trusty deputy had straightened things out. She remembered the shocked faces of her Clan as she snapped and turned on the loud mouthed tom.
εїз And now she wandered the woods, taking in the sunlight and clean air. And with the air came clarity of mind. She regretted fully her harsh actions on the truly sweet young apprentice. Every fiber of her being wished to return to that moment and stop herself. Sighing she came to an uneasy halt, looking about. A crow's call brought her attention to the shadows behind her. From the deepening shadows of twilight came the menacing growl of an enemy past. Mothstar's heart stopped and her breath caught in her throat. She stiffened, hackles flaring out and making her seem twice her normal size. But no matter her own size, Seventhsin would always be larger. He stepped from the shadows and laughed. Mothstar turned to stare him in the face. He doubled her height, making him one of the most massive toms in the forest. And his face was nearly like looking into a mirror, her own white, black, and orange reflected back at her in a face-twisting sneer. Seventhsin eyes blazed with hatred and Mothstar could feel her back legs shake. "You." She spat, letting her claws reveal themselves from the inside of her petite paws.
εїз He laughed again, the sound of it bouncing from tree to tree and sending up waves of screeching black crows. His eyes shifted and the crystal green inside his eyes began to bleed to black. He began to morph, his fangs and claws lengthening and turning as black as ebony. Mothstar felt vulnerable and small and she cried out as her brother leaped forward. He flew through the air in slow motion, his claws hitting her shoulders and knocking her backwards onto her back. He glared down into her face, hot breath stinking of carnage and crow food. Mothstar yowled, clawing at his belly for her very life, but his grip seemed unbreakable. Mothstar yelped out on last cry for help as he leaned down and slit her throat. She gurgled and flailed, tossing under his iron grip. Everything faded to black for a moment... And she was alive again, still traped under Seventhsin's steely hold. She yowled in fear as he leaned to slit her throat once more. Mothstar screeched, "NO!" She felt everything fade to black once more...
εїз Mothstar's eyes fluttered open. The stone floor was cold under her cheek. She stood quickly, a strangled cry ripping from her throat. She looked around, eyes searching all the dark corners for her demon of a brother. She was in her own den. And it had all been a dream. Mothstar's legs shook and she gave way and sunk to the floor. She swallowed a few times, getting herself under control before standing once again. She made her way out of the den and was appalled to find that the moon was still soaring high in the sky, winking down on the little camp. She lashed her tail and turned to return to her nest. A small noise alerted her to movement in the shadows. Still a bit jumpy, she whipped around. Her teeth were bore and her claw were unsheathed. Her hackled had flown out and she was a menacing sight. But the only creature to greet her menace was a small, very unwise mouse. It stood perfectly still, beady eyes staring straight at Mothstar. Mothstar unfluffed. She couldn't believe how foolish she'd been. A short chuckle was cause enough for alarm. A soft whisper followed, "Why hello, sister dear..." With widened eyes and a cold heart, Mothstar turned around to see the real sight that was Seventhsin.
